The Caribbean Rum and Beer Festival is pretty much self-explanatory - it's a day when people gather to celebrate some of the finest rum and beer in the country! There are lots of recipes to brew your own beer, and Dishfolio has online food recipes that can go great with a glass of cold beer. The website also has a number of recipes for cocktails that can be made using rum.
Alcoholic drink recipes for mixed drinks including rum can be daiquiris, which are incredibly popular cocktails that can include rum, syrup and limejuice. They often come with crushed ice and are served partly frozen. Hurricane cocktails are another popular, which has quite a large list of ingredients. It has passion fruit, orange juice, dark and light rums, lime juice and syrup. These are just two cool and refreshing rum cocktails that are perfect for the Jamaican sun.
