If you want to be a little more creative about the treats you hand out this year, we have the perfect solution for you! Dishfolio food blogger Abeer of Cakewhiz shares their quick and easy to follow guide to making Rolo Chocolate spiders!

Hi guys! My name is Abeer and I blog at Cakewhiz. I am very happy to be here today and share a Halloween treat.

Halloween is my favourite time of the year because I get to make cute and spooky treats for my family and friends.  It's even more fun when I can make something easy with kids.

Just like today's Rolo spiders! They are easy to make and I guarantee your little ones will have a blast!

To make them, you will need the following ingredients:

  • Rolo candies
  • Black licorice
  • Scissors
  • Melted chocolate in a squeeze bottle
  • White chocolate chips
  • Black edible marker
  • Wax paper or parchment paper

Step 1
: Cut black Twizzlers into small thin strips. They should be about 2 inches long.
Step 2: Use your black edible marker to draw out eyeballs on 2 white chocolate chips.
Step 3: Arrange the Twizzlers pieces (as shown in the picture below) on a sheet of wax/parchment paper.
Step 4: Pour some melted chocolate in the center and stick your Rolo here. Use some more melted chocolate to stick the white chocolate chips on the top.

And you are done!

I wish you all a "spooktacular" Halloween!

Thanks again to Abeer of Cakewhiz! These Rolo Chocolate Spiders is sure to deliver a thrilling Halloween! Check out Abeer's blog for more fantastic Halloween ideas!
