Food Blogger Interview: Jennifer Drummond of JenatPBandP

JenniferDrummond-jenatpbandp-picturePeanut Butter and Peppers food blogger, Jennifer Drummond, talks about her healthy food blog that takes everyday food and makes it healthier without sacrificing flavour on today's Dishfolio interview.

Tell us about your food blogging goals: What are they? How are you accomplishing them?

My cooking goal is to take food that everybody would like and making it healthier.  I have been accomplishing them and having fun doing it!

Who is your foodie hero and how do they inspire you?

My food heroes are other food bloggers!  I'm amazed by their creations and how they take such gorgeous photos.  I'm still working on my photography, but I'll get their one day!

Describe your all-time favorite recipe.

I don't have an all-time favorite recipe, but I do love my Greek Yogurt pancakes.  I'm amazed that I can make such fun combinations and have a healthy good for you breakfast!!

What's the best food photography tip you've learned in the past year?

Best photography tip I have received is use your camera in manual mode not automatic.  Since I did that my pictures are so much brighter and clearer.

JenniferDrummond-jenatpbandp-Cherry PancakesHow many cookbooks do you own and which do you reach for most often?  I have so many cookbooks I don't know where to begin.

When I need help or an idea, I always reach for my first cookbook that my Mom gave me and that is the old Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook, you know the one with the red and white cover.  I love it, so much more than the new edition.

If you had to choose a kitchen tool you couldn't live without, what would it be and why?

My kitchen scale!  I calculate calories for my recipes and I would not know how to do it without my scale.

What's next? How will you make yours the best food blog in town?

Just to keep trying, to be creative and not be afraid to step out of my comfort zone and try new things!
