French Toasts With Sliced Strawberries

Ingredients 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla essence ½ tsp ground cinnamon ½ cup of low FODMAP milk six slices of gluten free and low FODMAP bread 1 tblsp maple syrup (plus more to drizzle on top) oil or butter to grease the skillet 12 medium size strawberries Instructions Beat eggs, vanilla essence and cinnamon in a bowl large enough to fit the slice of bread Stir in milk and maple syrup Dip each bread slice in the mixture on each side until the bread has soaked some of the egg mixture On medium heat, in a lightly greased non stick skillet, cook the bread slices until they are a nice golden colour on both sides While cooking the bread slice your fresh strawberries When the french toasts are ready, put the sliced strawberries on top and drizzle with a bit of maple syrup
